Spas-in-the-Laurentians

SPAs in the Laurentians to discover during your next trip up north. We all live busy lives. We all have things to do, places to be, people to meet. We make time for others but sometimes forget about ourselves along the way. It’s always okay to put yourself first when it comes to your wellbeing. To help, we’d like to present to you our list of spas in the Laurentians that can help provide an escape from the day to day.

Spas in the Laurentians

The Polar Bear Club

Located in Piedmont, this Quebec spa has all the amenities of a hotel with all the relaxation facilities of a spa; one could call it’s the best of both worlds. The Polar Bear SPA is an ideal place to escape to with a large group of friends or family. With a vast selection of baths and saunas available, you’ll be reaching your level of Zen in no time. For the more adventurous types, there is even the option to go for a swim in the river nearby. Just be sure to bring your own lock, towel, robes, flip-flops and water bottle as none of these items are included.

If you’re not up for being a social butterfly and simply want some “me” time, then perhaps Spa Beaux Rêves is a better fit for you relaxation getaway. With a capacity limit of only 30 guests, Spa Beaux Rêves offers a more cozy and private environment for their guests.

Spa Ofuro

For those looking to escape to a Morin-Heights spa, Spa Ofuro is a little more on the cozy side than the larger Tremblant spas. What’s notable about this Laurentian spa is that they do not offer Wifi. This allows for guests to be at peace with themselves with no outside influences of your busy life trying to creep back in.

Don’t want to leave the spa to get food? Not to worry, Spa Ofuro offers a delightful continental breakfast to start your day of relaxation right.

If you’re looking for a more gastronomical escape the Beaux Rêves has partnered with two local Ste Adele restaurants, Chez Milot and La Chitarra. Chez Milot offers a $21 « 5 à 7 » where La Chitarra offers a nice intimate dining setting for you and that special someone. You can read more about them in our recent article on the restaurants in Ste Adele.

Scandinave Spa

It’s all in the name for this Spa Mont Tremblant, if you’re looking for a traditional Scandinavian spa in the Laurentians, then Spa Scandinave is the place to be.

Similar to the Polar Bear Spa, Spa Scandinave is the perfect place for you and a group of friends to go to after a long day of skiing. They even offer a ski and spa package! Spa Scandinave offers a variety of spa treatments and massages that will be sure to relieve you of any stress. However, you need to remember that you must be quiet when attending this spa. They hold true to the traditions of classic Scandinavian spas, so no chit chatting. Their belief is your soul will find peace in the purest of silence.

It should also be noted that since Spa Scandinave is a traditional Scandinavian spa, they do not offer lodging accommodations. Beaux Rêves, though smaller, offers a range of spa and activities packages. From skiing, to ATV to horseback riding, you’ll be sure to get your set of thrills and chill time while being able to spend the night in one of their lovely rooms.

Spa & Hotel Le Finlandais

If you wish to escape but not too far from home we recommend checking out Spa Finlandais in Rosemere. Located just past Laval, Spa Finlandais offers relaxation and escape minutes from Montreal Island.

What is most notable about Spa Filandais is the variety of themed rooms they offer. If you are looking to take your spa retreat to the 9’s then you have come to the right place. Spa Finlandais has numerous two-story rooms equipement with large king or queen sized beds, 55” plasma TVs, rainforest showers, living rooms, heated floors and even private terraces and more. With the variety of rooms to stay in, spa services and even conference hall, Le Finlandais is a great place to relax while enjoying the high life.

If this is not within your budget, Spa Beaux Rêves offers affordable room rates! They may not come with 55” TVs and rainforest showers, but their rooms have fireplaces, hot tubs and a lovely view of the river. What’s to be noticed is that the rooms at Beaux Rêves do not have TVs or alarm clocks, this way guests are sure to feel disconnected from their busy lives.
