At the end of your adrenaline-filled day, don’t forget to visit our Nordic spa for some well-deserved downtime by the river. Get out and explore everything the Laurentians has to offer.

Hiking

Hikers will find plenty of trails to discover in the Laurentians, all within 15 or so minutes from the inn. Doncaster Park is only minutes away from the inn and has trails with breathtaking scenic views. Since June 2021, Mont Loup-Garou Park offers visitors 42 km of trails for fatbiking, mountain biking and hiking.

In Val-Morin and Val-David, the regional park offers a well-assorted hiking experience. Also, you may have heard of the P’tit Train du Nord—a 200-km linear park that runs along a former train track between Saint-Jérôme and Mont-Laurier. After all the fun, come rest your aching muscles at our riverside Nordic spa! Our overnight guests receive free access to Doncaster Park!

Canoeing & kayaking

Auberge & Spa nordique Beaux Rêves offers a wide range of activities, including canoeing and kayaking. Located in the heart of the Laurentians, Sainte-Adèle offers several great canoeing expeditions. For those who own a kayak, we are within a short distance of three rivers: North River, Simon River and Mulet River (directly on our property). No matter your skill level, you’re sure to have a great time.

Mulet River runs right in front of your bedroom window. Kayakers will find that the best period is from late April until the end of May. You can also canoe on the North River, from Val-David to Val-Moring, with the option of cycling back to the starting point. Always a wonderful adventure! When you’re done, come back to the inn to relax!

The beach

Beach lovers will enjoy this intimate beach on Lac Rond, only 5 minutes away from Beaux Reves. This is a popular destination because of its family ambiance and beautiful surroundings. Pedal-boat, kayak, canoe and rowboat rentals are available. Better yet, combine a beach day with our Nordic spa experience!
Our overnight guests receive free access to Jean-Guy Caron beach in Sainte-Adèle.

Biking

Biking possibilities in the Sainte-Adèle area in the Laurentians are truly endless, no matter if you’re a beginner or an expert. Nature lovers won’t want to miss the P’tit Train du Nord bike path that stretches 200 km from Saint-Jérôme to Mont-Laurier, crossing beautiful rivers, lakes and mountains. Also, the aerobic corridor between Morin-Heights and Lac-des-Seize-îles is a cycler’s paradise during autumn with all the fall colours. Fatbiking has quickly become a very popular sport. There are some amazing trails in Mont Loup-Garou Park located in Sainte-Adèle and open year-round.

Cruises

Sailing on the beautiful Lac des Sables in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, enjoy a 50-minute cruise while listening to your bilingual tour guide. What could be more enjoyable or romantic than being on the open water and gazing into the sunset?

Movie theatre

The Pine Theatre in Sainte-Adèle is unique in the Pays-d’en-haut region, and only 1.5 km (1 mile) away from the inn. Here, you’ll find two pavilions with several rooms showing an interesting selection of new releases. You can also attend their MET Opera matinee series broadcasted live from New York’s Metropolitan Opera House. Our friendly staff at the front desk will happily share with you the theatre’s programme and schedule.
